Do I need bed stiffeners on my Tacoma?
The Tacoma bed is known for flex under heavy loads, especially with a bed rack or overland gear. BPF Bed Stiffeners reinforce the bed structure and reduce that flex, which protects both your bed and whatever you're carrying. If you're running a bed rack and roof top tent, they're cheap insurance.
What is a twin compressor mount and why would I need one?
A twin compressor mount gives you a dedicated, secure mounting location for an onboard air compressor inside your truck bed or cab. Instead of loose compressors rattling around, you get a clean, permanent install. BPF makes mounts for the 2024-2025 Tacoma and Land Cruiser, as well as the 2025+ 4Runner.
What's the difference between a tie down point and a recovery point?
A tie down point is used to strap the vehicle down during delivery or transit, and is not rated for recovery loads. A recovery point, on the other hand, is rated for the full force of a vehicle recovery, which can put thousands of pounds of load on the attachment point. BPF's rear tow hooks for the 4th gen Tacoma include integrated skid plates, giving you both recovery functionality and underbody protection in one piece.
Will a bed rack fit my Tacoma if I have a tonneau cover or bed liner?
Our Tacoma Bed Rack is designed to fit 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen Tacomas. Compatibility with tonneau covers depends on the cover type, most soft roll-up covers are not compatible with a full bed rack. A spray-in or drop-in bed liner typically does not affect fitment. When in doubt, reach out before ordering and we'll confirm compatibility for your specific setup.
What is a MOLLE panel and what can I attach to it?
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) panels use a webbing system that lets you attach pouches, tools, first aid kits, recovery gear, and accessories in a modular, reconfigurable way. BPF makes a MOLLE-style pet barrier for the Tesla Model Y, bringing the same organizational system to non-truck vehicles.
Do you offer shipping protection?
Yes. We offer optional shipping protection at checkout to cover damage or loss in transit. Given that our parts are fabricated metal components, we strongly recommend adding it for peace of mind.
What vehicles do BPF parts fit?
Our current lineup focuses primarily on Toyota Tacoma (2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen) and Toyota 4Runner, with select products for the Land Cruiser and Tesla Model Y. We're actively expanding to additional vehicle families.
